🌟 International Volunteer Day 🌟 is a special occasion to recognize and celebrate the incredible efforts of volunteers who generously give their time and skills to make a difference. This year, we celebrated our amazing volunteer tutors at the WA Museum Boola Bardip, a venue rich in history and culture.
The event was a heartfelt tribute to the dedication and hard work of our volunteers. They were honored for their invaluable contributions, which have had a significant impact on the community. The celebration included a visit to the Spinifex People: Art and Stories from Pila Nguru exhibition, which showcases the vibrant art and profound stories of the Spinifex people, also known as the Pila Nguru. This exhibition offers a deep dive into their cultural heritage, featuring stunning artworks that narrate their connection to the land and their traditions.
The combination of recognizing our volunteers' efforts and experiencing the cultural richness of the Spinifex people made the day truly memorable. It was a wonderful opportunity to express our gratitude and celebrate the incredible work of our volunteers. 🌿✨
