For International Volunteer Day 2025, Read Write Now celebrated the incredible dedication of our tutors across Perth and regional WA—champions who bring learning to life for adult learners every week. This year’s theme, “Every Contribution Matters”, couldn’t be more fitting.
To mark the day, tutors enjoyed a relaxed morning at the Maritime Museum, with complimentary entry, gallery explorations, and plenty of conversation over coffee. It was a fantastic way to recognise their impact and connect as a community.
Across the regions—City Metro, Swan, Stirling, Morley, Canning, South East Metro, Rockingham, and Mandurah—tutors wrapped up the year with local catch-ups filled with shared stories, laughs, and reflections on 2025. Coordinators also came together at the Guildford Hotel, celebrating achievements and strengthening connections ahead of the new year.
These celebrations highlight what makes Read Write Now special: committed volunteers, supportive coordinators, and a community that values learning, connection, and the power of giving back.
