Today, on International Volunteer Day, Read Write Now takes the opportunity to acknowledge all volunteers and to thank them for the work they do to make a difference to other people’s lives.
Read Write Now held a tutor SKILLS WORKSHOP DAY on Saturday, December 2nd. The event provided an opportunity to acknowledge and say “THANKS!” to tutors for their commitment and professional tutoring work delivered during 2023. Furthermore, it presented information to support tutoring in numeracy skills, gave participants an insight to RWN’s project work and encouraged tutors to network with colleagues. Read Write Now thanks NMTAFE lecturer Tim Riessen for delivering an engaging and practical numeracy workshop with the title, “Subconscious Competence”.
